Kerry Kirk is a Certified Health and Nutrition Counselor and is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Meaningful Wellness, a nutrition consulting firm. A native of Ohio, Kerry attended the Western Reserve Academy and earned her BS from the University Oregon in Environmental Studies and her Master’s in Public Health with an emphasis on Health Education from Indiana University.
Most recently, Kerry attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City where she obtained formal certification by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Through her business, Meaningful Wellness, Kerry now leads nutrition workshops, corporate wellness classes and offers individual health and nutrition coaching to adults, adolescents, parents, and families.
Prior to starting Meaningful Wellness, Kerry was the Health Coordinator for grades K through 12 at the Potomac School in McLean, VA where she worked for many years. At Potomac, Kerry taught Health Education for grades K through 8, was an eighth grade adviser, Chaired the Intermediate school’s Advisory Committee, Safety and Wellness Committee, and was a member of the Diversity Committee.
Kerry is active with a variety of charitable and business development organizations in the community, including: NetSmartz (an internet safety organization); the Steering Committee for the Young Leaders Society of United Way; the Impact Team Member for the United Way of Hancock County; the Hancock County Humane Society; the Challenge Day Committee at Findlay High School; Greater Findlay, Inc.; the Women’s Entrepreneur Network; and Junior Achievement. Kerry also sits on the Alumni Board of her alma mater, Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio.
